Your collection's dashboard: charts, wordcloud and filters
Each collection has a dashboard with charts about its ideas and the people behind them. Open it from Manage > Overview > Dashboard. You can also browse ideas as a gallery, a list or a wordcloud, and filter them.
Who can do this: collection managers and Admins.
Open the dashboard
- Open the collection and select the Manage tab.
- Click Overview in the sidebar.
- Make sure the Dashboard tab is selected.
The Export button at the top right downloads the collection as a spreadsheet. See Exporting a collection to a spreadsheet.
The dashboard cards
The word “ideas” in card titles follows your collection’s type, so a feedback collection shows “Feedback per step”.

| Ideas per step | One bar split by step, starting with the Inbox, in each step’s colour. Hover over a part to see the count. Click a name in the legend to open that step. |
| Collection details | Access, folder, managers, the workflow the collection was created from and the date it was created. See Collection settings explained. |
| Most comments | The 10 people who wrote the most comments. |
| Most contributions | The 10 people who submitted or co-wrote the most ideas. |
| Wordcloud | The most common words in your ideas’ titles and descriptions. |
| Heatmap | Each idea plotted by views and reactions. Click a dot to open the idea. |
| Contributions | A chart of ideas over time. Choose new or total ideas, by week, month or year. |
What the figures count
- Figures only include active members of the hive.
- On collections that hide contributor names or save ideas anonymously, the Most contributions and Most comments lists never credit anyone for those ideas.
Use the wordcloud to spot themes
The wordcloud shows up to 80 words from the titles and descriptions of your ideas. Bigger words appear more often. Short words and common filler words (in English, Swedish, German and French) are left out.
Click a word to see a list of the ideas that use it. This is a quick way to find ideas about the same topic.
Browse ideas in Manage mode
Click All ideas, Inbox or a step in the sidebar. Under the Contributions tab you can switch between:

You can drag an idea from the gallery onto a step or the Inbox in the sidebar to move it. See How to move an idea to another step.
Filter and sort ideas
Click Filter to open Filter contributions:
- Sort by: Newest first, Oldest first, A to Z, Z to A or Most reactions.
- Step: only in All ideas. Choose All steps, Inbox or one step.
- Assignees and Contributors: search for a member.
- Search: finds words in idea titles and descriptions.
Active filters appear as chips above the ideas. Click the cross on a chip to remove it.
On collections that hide contributor names or save ideas anonymously, the Contributors filter only finds your own ideas.
Common questions
Do hidden ideas count in the charts? Yes. Collection managers and Admins see every idea, including hidden ones, so the dashboard counts them too.
Is there a board or kanban view? No. Use the sidebar to see ideas step by step, and drag ideas onto a step to move them.
Where are statistics for the whole hive? Open Menu > Dashboard. See The Dashboard: hive statistics.
