If you are a registered non-profit, charity, foundation or NGO, every plan on our pricing page is 50% off, on the first invoice and every one after it. The rest of this page is the small print, and there is not much of it.

Who qualifies?

Any organisation that is registered as a non-profit in its own country: a charity, a foundation, a non-governmental organisation, a member association, a sports federation, a faith community, a trade union. We do not keep a list of approved legal forms, because every country has its own. If your registration says you exist for a purpose other than profit, you qualify.

Public-sector bodies and universities are a different conversation. This particular discount is not written for them, but we work with municipalities already, so talk to us anyway.

What does it cost?

Exactly half of the price on the pricing page, on the same annual billing. In euro:

The discount is the same 50% in kronor, pounds and dollars. There are no per-user fees to halve, because there are none. See every currency on the pricing page.

How do we claim it?

Book a demo and write “non-profit” in the note, or mention it on the call. Before we send a proposal, we ask for one document: your registration certificate, or a link to your entry in the national register. That is the whole process. No application form, no committee, no quarterly review of whether you still deserve it.

Why do we do this?

Because the organisations with the most ideas per person are often the ones with the least budget per person. A non-profit runs on volunteers, members and staff who care more than they are paid, and most of what they know never reaches the people making the decisions. That is the problem Hives.co exists to fix, and it would be odd to price you out of it.

Questions non-profits usually ask

Does the discount apply to the Enterprise plan?

Yes. Core, Pro and Enterprise are all 50% off. Enterprise still comes with SAML, multiple hives and a customer success manager; only the price changes.

Is it 50% forever, or only the first year?

For as long as you are a registered non-profit. The discount is written into the contract and carries over at every renewal. If your organisation changes legal form, we talk about it then, not before.

What proof do you need?

One document that shows your non-profit status: a registration certificate, a charity number, a tax-exemption letter, or a link to your entry in the national register. Whatever your country issues is fine.

Can we combine it with another discount?

No. If you are offered more than one discount, the larger one applies. Fifty per cent is usually the larger one.

We are a public-sector body, a school or a university. Do we qualify?

Not for this discount, which is for registered non-profits. We work with public-sector organisations, Linköping Municipality among them, so book a demo and we talk about what fits.

Is the product different for non-profits?

No. Same platform, same features per plan, same SSO for Microsoft and Google, same EU hosting, same support. Half price is the only difference.
